Join Stowe House Educator Cathi Belcher for “Harriet’s Gingerbread Tea” on Tuesday, December 16th from 12-2 pm. Come see Harriet’s Christmas tree, all decked out as she described it in letters to friends and family. Listen to Cathi as she reads letters that Harriet and the children wrote from the Brunswick house, describing the Stowe’s first winter there, as well as descriptions of their family holiday traditions. PLUS, come see the large, ornately decorated ginger bread house replica of Harriet’s Federal Street home, located at 63 Federal Street in Brunswick.

There is no cost for this event, but donations are always appreciated to help fund our programs. Tea and holiday baked goods will be served.
