Associate Professor of Earth and Oceanographic Science, Michèle LaVigne, will introduce a team of past and present Bowdoin students studying ocean acidification and coastal carbon cycling at a local oyster reef restoration site in Phippsburg, ME. Justine Endo-Ferguson ’26, Beka Jaksa ’27, Taylor Wilkinson, ’27, and Henry Zucco ’25 will describe the research that they are carrying out in collaboration with Colby College and Phippsburg’s Basin Oyster Project.
