Maciej Walczak is a Polish composer and media artist working at the intersection of sound, image, and performance. Trained as a cellist at the Academy of Music in Łódź and later in composition and new media at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, Walczak creates immersive audio-visual works that translate musical structure into luminous visual space. His projects range from live visualizations with leading contemporary ensembles to interactive stage environments for opera and experimental festivals.
