Bowdoin Middle Eastern Ensemble, directed by Eric LaPerna, will be  performing music from the Kef tradition. Kef is a style of Armenian and Anatolian folk music that was brought to this country by Armenians during the diaspora of the early 20th century. Kef is party music that is played at Armenian picnics, dances, and celebrations.  This event will be live-streamed at www.bowdoin.edu/live.
