Schiller Coastal Studies Center Farmhouse
Join Maine Master Naturalists Annie Nixon and Shana Stewart Deeds for this academic year's last "Naturalizing and Nature Journaling Through the Seasons" event at Schiller Coastal Studies Center (SCSC).
All abilities welcome, no experience necessary!
When and Where:
May 18th
10am-12pm
Meet at the Schiller Coastal Studies Center Farmhouse
Open to the Public; no fee
Dress for the weather:
Participants should dress in rain gear/for the weather, wear waterproof shoes or boots and bring a hiking stick if desired.
What else to bring:
A snack, reusable travel mug, drink and pencil or journaling supplies
We will have extras.
Consider bringing a favorite field guide and binoculars.
Planned activity:
Your Maine Master Naturalist guides will lead the group on a moderate hike along some of the many trails at SCSC and complete nature journaling activities. We will be out for at least an hour and the hike will be of moderate ease.
