Join Maine Master Naturalists Annie Nixon and Shana Stewart Deeds for a naturalizing and nature journaling through the seasons series in 2024 at Schiller Coastal Studies Center (SCSC). Come to one event or save the dates for the entire series. All abilities welcome, no experience necessary!

We will lead a journaling activity and take a nature walk at each event.

Visitors may drive past the farmhouse and down the hill to the right where they will find "visitor parking” (Directions). Participants should dress warmly, wear shoes with good grips and bring a hiking stick if desired, along with a snack, drink and pencil or journaling supplies. Consider bringing a favorite field guide and binoculars. Your Maine Master Naturalist guides will lead the group on a moderate hike (or snowshoe) along some of the many trails at SCSC and complete nature journaling activities. We will be out for at least an hour and the hike will be of moderate ease. Participants will attend at their own risk.

Registration is required and space is limited so sign up today!
