Qi Gong: Exploring the Twelve Rivers with Terry Cockburn: Qi Gong (pronounced “chee gung”) is an ancient gentle movement practice that focuses on balancing and harmonizing ones vital life energy for optimal health and wellbeing. Qi Gong is a mind-body-spirit practice that can improve mental and physical health by integrating gentle, fluid movement, breath practices, self-massage and mindful intent. In this weekly practice, we will explore the Twelve Rivers sequence, aimed to stimulate and strengthen the energy through organ systems in the body. This low-impact practice is suitable for all levels, and no special equipment or clothing is needed to participate.
